The Post-high school School of Journalism
We, the School's team, are pleased that you have chosen to study with us and we look forward to working together. You will join a team of professors and guides dedicated to the highest ideals and aspirations of journalism. We consider journalism as being an integrating part - in fact, the binder - of a free, open and well-informed society.
By choosing this school you will become part of what we like to call a contract. This contract unites us all for reaching the same goal: to offer the best opportunity to understand and master the power of journalism. The school will carry out its part of the contract through its representatives: the journalists and teaches, by providing varied and flexible curriculum and enforcing the highest standards of ethics. We propose to impose the principles of professional journalism. Your responsibilities include the desire to reach and maintain excellence in the activity that you will carry out with us, behavior in an honorable and professional manner regarding the School, the information sources or the public and above all, the truth. The School operates best when we work together in an environment of mutual trust, respect and professionalism.
Still, the School of journalism cannot be everything for the ones involved. What we can promise is that we shall do anything in our power so that our school's students can have access to classes held by important people from the area we live in. Also, we cannot promise our students a working place after graduation. Many factors beyond our control will influence the success of every graduate. The diploma that we are going to grant at the end of the two years of study cannot guarantee - and you shouldn't expect for something like this to happen - the immediate professional success or employment in job "that you have always dreamed of".
If you come to this school with such high expectations you will only manage to reduce your chances of success, you won't get to know your strengths and weaknesses, you will only succeed in affecting your relationship with the school and your schoolmates.
We wrote these words to help you make a decision that will be in your advantage: to join our team. We want this school of journalism to become a school of the whole mass media local system. By completing our group you will agree to take part in reaching this goal.
These are the most important projects of ATZ...
En-joy is an on-line publication that made its first appearance one year ago; it addresses young journalists and not only. The innovation comes from the fact that it is creating interactions, just like a forum.
It is an opportunity for announcing different events and activities held by ATZ though media and also informing the youth by collaborating with Radio 21 Brasov.
All you have to do is go to www.en-joy.ro and see for yourself!
